Event
The participants of the event will take part in lectures about renewable energy sources, efficient energy consumption, batteries, trends in electric vehicle industry, environmental, social, economic and policy impact etc. They will have the opportunity to transfer their theoretical knowledge into practical exercises, which will ensure a better grasp of the knowledge and allow them to share it among their colleagues, to whom they will show their final products of the workshop. This practical part will also strengthen their creative thinking and working in an international team, which will motivate them to create the best possible product, to be shown in the contest at the end of the event.
The workshop will involve 20 students from all over Europe. Beside that also Slovenian students will be invited to lectures. Our goal is to enable, through the use of various appropriately adapted activities, such as lectures, trainings, excursions, presentations, workshops and even more innovative methods, such as games and other forms of informal education, the creation of a flourishing social environment for each individual, the wider community and future generations. We wish to, by educating them on needs of the modern industry, also make the participants more interesting to their future employers. After the event, they will be able to help other young people recognize the importance of green energy and other covered themes, in various projects on local level.
